Our surgery suite is equiped with monitoring and supportive medical devices to help ensure the safety of your pet while undergoing anesthesia. These instruments include:
- Heated surgery table
- Warm air system to keep patients warm (same as used in human hospitals)
- Blood pressure monitor
- Heart rate and oxygenation monitor
- IV fluid pump to administer accurate fluid volumes during anesthesia
In addition, all patients are monitored by a veterinary technician or assistant until your pet has fully recovered from anesthesia, and we call you as soon as your pet is awake.
